This saga is no typical Astrid Lindgren yada yada. It’s way better than that. Two Vikings bring their awesomeness together and the result is Bokklubben. Two brilliant minds with weird ideas have found each other and this time in a brand new constellation based on their love for literature. These two geezers are no strangers, referring to their first collaboration MDRSKP1 working with Plunge Attempt and DJ Mad Wrist and their album ANGST, they have been making music before but not in this format and not just the two of them. Channelling your emotions and thoughts through music and lyrics might not seem like a new invention, but these guys dares to question “the Jante Law” with a distance that question themselves and their own way of living which feels invigorating. Even though all the lyrics are in their native tongue the boys have put loads of effort into creating the mood that the lyrics give, into the music itself. All in all, their music can be described as a lot of filthy industrial sounds going on a love rampage with King Gustaf Wasa. Can you feel it?
