A Native of Hamburg/Germany, Beatmo started his musical career in various punk bands in the early 90's, the latest of which SCHROTTKOPP is still appearing in Hamburg's underground scene. He became interested in the Avantgarde Rock & Krautrock sound and experimentalism of bands such as Faust at an early age and eventually started experimenting on his own with recorded sound around 1995.
After falling in love with the GOA Trance sound and scene in 1998, Beatmo began playing and producing Techno and GOA. While staying in Los Angeles between 1999 and 2000 he DJ'd at various underground and desert parties. In 2000 he returned to Hamburg and took a break from performing while keeping close ties to Hamburg's GOA Scene, doing lots of flyer and poster artwork for Psyngroove and RAENDNA while continuing to produce electronic music.
Since 2006 Beatmo has been a resident of Portland/Maine with occasional appearances and collaborations... Beatmo released his album, "Flutschkraft" on brick.city.media, October 12, 2009.
